I am a self taught photographer with a passion for the out doors.
I specialize in Landscape fine art. I also shoot Weddings, Portrait & commercial photography.

Almost all my pictures are for sale.
Pictures are available to buy as prints in almost any size.
Or to use with my written permission.


I love the great outdoors and have always appreciated the beauty of the British countryside. I have spent most of my life walking fells and riding mountain bikes.
Before I took up photography I raced bicycles since an early age, mostly mountain bikes since 1987. I reached my peak in 2004 where I topped the UK rankings and I was English (midland) and Scottish downhill champion. See me in action.
I retired from racing in 2007 because of injury. I still ride my bike & fell walk, now with photography in mind.


I use professional Nikon digital SLRs for high quality images,(D800 & D300) they are also weather proof and durable for out door use. I have a selection of lens's; 16 35mm f4, 28 300mm f3.5-5.6, 12-24mm F4, 70-300mm F4.5-F5.6, 50mm F1.8, 35mm F1.8, 18-50mm F2.8 Macro, 105mm F2.8 Macro. A flash gun for fill light. I mostly use Lee filters I also have Cokin Z Pro and Hitec filters, a Cokin 105mm circular polarizer, a Lee Filter big stopper, a carbon fibre tripod with a Rotating Levelling Base and a hydrostatic ball head.
