I love the great outdoors and have always appreciated the beauty of the British countryside. I have spent most of my life walking fells and riding mountain bikes.
Before I took up photography I raced bicycles since an early age, mostly mountain bikes since 1987.
In 2004 I reached my peak in mountain bike downhill racing where I placed 1st overall in the UK National rankings and I was also English, Scottish and regional Masters downhill champion in the same year.
I retired from racing in 2007 because of injury. I still ride my bike & fell walk, now with photography in mind.
Now I am a self-taught semi-professional photographer specializing in atmospheric landscape fine art.
My work is sold around the world and I have had my work published in books, magazines and the National press, including the prestigious Sunday Times Spectrum, front page covers like The Sunday Mail travel magazine, back cover on the highly acclaimed Landscape photographer of the year awards book, twice published inside the Landscape photographer of the year awards book and for the second year running, my work will appear in print at the National theatre gallery in London.
