Newlands Valley, Lake District.

Newlands Valley, Lake District. - Lake District & Cumbria
I was climbing Cat Bells with two friends and their two children on a breezy day in the English Lakes.
Whilst taking a break I was watching the strong rays of light poking through the heavy clouds and working their way along Newlands valley, West of Skelgill Bank, which is the long ridge leading up to Cat Bells fell. Watching the rays of light catching the fresh spring grass I noticed an excellent opportunity for a picture, I waited for the light to shine on an old rusty tin barn with an eye catching twisty lane running along the valley floor.
